The function of each component Metering Regulating System (MR/S) :

Of each component of Metering Regulating Station (MR/S), we describe each respective functions of these components:

1. Insulating Joint (Inlet-Outlet)

Voltage isolating cathodic protection (CP) from the network pipeline to the station module (MR/S) and the pipe thereafter.

2. Isolation Valve (Inlet-Outlet)

Isolate the inlet pressure (inlet) and exit pressure (outlet).

3. Gas Filter

Filtering the incoming gas from the particles and other impurities.

4. Safety Shut Off Valves / Valve Shut slum

As a safety excess pressure, which stop the gas flow to close automatically and open it manually.

5. Regulators & Regulator Active Monitor (optional)

Set the exit pressure (outlet), in accordance with the contract pressure.

6. Relief Valve

Remove the pressurized gas that is more due to pressure build-ups regulator and the thermal expansion into the air through the vent stack.

7. Check Valve

Resist backflow (return / back pressure)

8. Turbine Flow Meters

Measure the gas volume flow / customer use

9. Pressure Gauge

Measuring gas pressure

10. Temperature Gauge

Measuring gas temperature

11. Volume Corrector / EVC
